There's some almost positive news about my friend Isildur,he has started the Equus therapy which consists of having the horse in a small enclosure and the person sending him away until he decides to acknowledge the person as the leader he will then begin to show sublte signs of acceptance...Lowering his head licking and chewing and attempting to placate the human who according to how sincere the signals are,they can allow the horse to join up which is a magical moment of total trust.
This Sending Away happens in the wild when young horses,particularly males reach sexual maturity and become stroppy...Isildur has never had the choice before he's always been ordered around by people some abusive...Now i think hes confused but reluctantly responsive,we have noticed a change in his attitude but its early days and there are still too many instances of deliberate aggression.However, we will keep trying to get through to him because this animal has enormous potential.

Reminds me quite forcibly of the horse whisperer. Not a bad book, but a less than satisfactory movie to be sure. How is he doing? I hope he is well.
